I know Mike Millar posted that on his website a week or so ago, Harry Knowles said he was wrong and then Millar said that if it wasn't true he'd donate $1000 bucks to charity.

I just don't see that guy as the big "S", I'll hold judgement until I see him though.
they mentioned it on a cleveland radio station this morning..and they arent known for BS. so, id bet its true....no guarentees tho.
never seen him act, but he looks okay. his mouth seems a bit off...maybe his chin as well...i don't know. i'm not one to nit pick that much, and i certainly don't care about superman enough to get that worked up over it...
it's going to be hard for me to look at anyone as superman other than christopher reeves
Eh, i can live with it because he can actually act.
Homeboy's gonna need to pack on some serious pounds and get himself on a Thomas Jane style workout regimen if he's even gonna get close to the size Superman should be, though.

On Monday, comic book writer Mark Millar revealed he had learned that Jim Caviezel ("The Count of Monte Cristo," "The Passion of The Christ") had officially been cast as Superman in the new Bryan Singer-directed adaptation at Warner Bros.
Millar's scoop was followed the next day with an apparent debunking by Harry Knowles at Ain't-It-Cool-News, who said that Caviezel had not been cast and wasn't even being considered. He added that Tom Welling was also out of the running.

Just to hammer home how confident I am as regards my source (pretty much as good as it gets), I will personally write a cheque to charity for 1000 dollars from my Wolverine royalties (Wolverine 20 and 21 out October 2004) if Jim Caviezel isn't cast as Superman on the day principal photography starts. Warners may have a couple of PR stunts planned prior to the final announcement, but this is a bet that Jim C is standing there in a Superman costume once the cameras start rolling.
alls i know is this...if he plays Bill in "Shatner: a story of alien poon and pills" he will have played the 3 most powerful and influential men in the history of history.

Caviezel can certainly act but he doesn't really look like Supes, IMO.
